Perfect for anyone, including up and coming talent, who would like to learn more about orchestras and brush up their own skills; each workshop will explore a different section of instruments. The workshops will be presented by BSO Associate Musician Dr Jon James.

There will be the opportunity to gain knowledge of techniques such as bowing, reed positioning amongst others. There will also be a live Q&A where you will be able to ask Jon and the musicians questions.

Sessions on the different sections are to be held throughout the day as follows:

Brass Section 10.30-11.15am
Woodwind Section 12.15-1pm
String Section 2.30-3.15pm
Percussion, Harp & Piano Section 4.15-5pm
